How to use Spotafriend’s location sharing feature?
To use Spotafriend’s location sharing feature, follow these steps:
- Open the chat with the person you want to share your location with.
- Tap the paperclip icon in the chat bar.
- Select the “Location” option.
- Allow Spotafriend to access your device’s location.
- Choose whether to share your “Live” or “Static” location.
- “Live” location: This will share your real-time location with the person for a set amount of time (e.g., 30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.).
- “Static” location: This will share your current location as a pin on a map, without updating in real-time.
- Tap “Send” to share your location.
Note: You can stop sharing your location at any time by tapping the “Stop Sharing” button in the chat. It’s important to only share your location with people you trust and to be mindful of your privacy and safety.
